This song is where it all began. First the lyrics, then the music video, and out of the video grew the Nine Responding world, the stories and the game.

The song is about a rescuer they call Relic. The corporations are cutting the routes, rescue costs too much to spare, and automated drones are cheaper than old men who still care. He still goes where nobody goes anymore: toward a distress signal twenty-three years old, with a four percent chance of success. On the way — fading colonies, anomalies, and the same ancient symbols on different worlds.

In the video the rover is still called Arachne — her name before the world took shape. In the stories she became Adna. The video stays as it was: this is how it all started.
